We're Bringing Spanish to Preschool!

We're so excited to share something new at The Learning Tree: Spanish is coming to our preschool classrooms! This year, our preschoolers are getting a fun, playful introduction to a second language as part of their everyday learning.

What it looks like

This isn't a formal language class — it's Spanish woven right into the day the way preschoolers learn best: through songs, games, colors, counting, greetings, and everyday words. Kids might sing a counting song in Spanish, learn their colors while they paint, or practice saying “¡hola!” and “gracias.” It's hands-on, low-pressure, and genuinely fun.

Why an early start is a gift

Young children are natural language sponges. A little early exposure to a second language supports listening skills, focus, and curiosity — and it builds confidence as kids realize how capable they are. The goal isn't fluency; it's a joyful first taste that opens the door and makes learning feel like play.
